Where do you source your sapphires?

Where possible, we source our sapphires locally here in Australia usually direct from the miner. You can rest assured that your special piece was created both ethically and sustainably. The gold that we use in our lost wax casting process is 100% Australian gold.

Do you have a shop front I can visit?

At this stage we only have an online shop and have no plans to open a bricks and mortar store. This enables us to pass these savings onto our lovely customers. Working online, also gives us the flexibility with our young family.

Do you offer layaways/laybys?

We offer layaways/laybys on any piece of jewellery. An initial 10% deposit is required if you are wanting to pay this way for an item/s. The remaining amount (less the deposit) is then spread equally over 12 weeks with the final payment to include the shipping fee if you are outside of Australia.


We do not charge interest on your payments. A payment plan will be set up for you through progress payment listings on the website. We will then get in touch to let you know your progress payment listing is available, you will then have 24 hours to pay the invoice.
Please contact us to discuss & set up this for you if a payment plan is your preferred method of payment.


If you cancel during your payment plan or you fail to pay within 24 hours of the next installment, your layaway/layby payments will be refunded to you.

Current ready to ship rings are able to be 'RESERVED' for 7 days. If we haven't heard from you that you intend to purchase the ring after 7 days, it will be taken off being reserved.

Custom designed rings will require a 50% deposit prior to any work commencing. The final 50% will then be required upon completion. Please note that custom orders are unable to be returned for a refund.

Do you accept returns or offer refunds?

In the unlikely event that you wish to return your ring, you must contact us within 7 days of receiving it. The return shipping cost (with insurance) is to be covered by you & when we receive the ring in the same condition, the money for the ring will be returned less the return shipping & insurance costs (this must be initiated within 7 days).

The ring must be sent back to us in the original condition that it left the studio & suitably packed to avoid damage with no alterations or damage. We strive to ensure that the rings are described & photographed in the natural light and at as many different angles as possible to give you the best view of the ring without physically trying it on.

Please note that we are not responsible for custom's fees & duty, you must ensure that you check this prior to shipping back to Australia.

 Do you ship internationally?

Yes! All pieces are shipped via Australia Post (Monday-Friday). International delivery of items can take up to 10 working days to arrive (sometimes longer due to customs or unforeseen weather events) after we have shipped. Please take this into consideration if you are purchasing outside of Australia.
All rings will be shipped within the week that payment has cleared will be shipped with full tracking and signature on delivery by Express Courier International or Express Post domestic if you are in Australia.
As your ring is a treasured purchase, ALL rings will be sent with full shipping insurance, tracking & signature on delivery.

|| PLEASE NOTE! || Some countries do impose import charges, these are not covered in the cost of your ring & The Sapphire Theory will not be made liable for any costs incurred for import/duty charges. It is your responsibility to check this prior to purchase, if you are unsure if your country does impose these fees, I can't stress enough that you please check prior to purchase.
