These sparkling sapphire earrings showcases ethically and sustainably sourced .50ct Australian teal trillion cut sapphires in each earring (1ct total) created in solid 14ct yellow gold with 14ct yellow gold earring posts and butterfly earring backs.
These earrings were created entirely by hand using the lost wax method. The lost wax method enables me to create the earrings around the natural shape and lines of the sapphire in a completely organic and freeform method. The wax is essentially 'lost' in the casting process revealing a solid gold piece of jewellery.
These earrings have a high, mirror finish polish. The earrings are hallmarked for 14ct gold. The gold used in the earrings is 100% Australian, sustainably and ethically sourced.
