This breathtaking solitaire ring showcases a one of a kind ethically an sustainably sourced 2.4ct hex cut parti sapphire originating from Queensland, Australia. This Australian sapphire showcases an array of sparkling teal, blue and emerald green tones depending on the light it catches.
This ring was created entirely by hand using the lost wax method. The lost wax method enables me to create the ring around the natural shape and lines of the sapphire in a complete organic and freeform method, the wax is essentially 'lost' in the casting process revealing a solid gold ring.
The gold sapphire ring has a high, mirror finish polish with a smooth high polished interior for comfort. The ring is a AUS size P and can be resized. The ring rises 4mm off the finger with the face of the ring measuring 11mm in length and 10mm wide (at its widest point) and 5mm at the top & 5mm at the bottom. The band is 2mm thick. The ring is hallmarked for 9ct gold.
Parti sapphires are a rare type of sapphire as they showcase two or more colours in the one sapphire which can not be artificially replicated.
