This exquisite solitaire ring showcases a one of a kind ethically an sustainably sourced 1.90ct fancy oval cut parti green sapphire originating from Queensland, Australia. This Australian sapphire showcases an array of sparkling green tones depending on the light it catches.
This ring was created entirely by hand using the lost wax method. The lost wax method enables me to create the ring around the natural shape and lines of the sapphire in a completely organic and freeform method using a small amount of hand tools. The wax is essentially 'lost' in the casting process revealing a solid gold ring.
This gold sapphire ring has a high, mirror finish polish with a smooth high polished interior for comfort. The ring is solid 9ct yellow gold and is a AUS size N 1/2 which can be resized. The ring rises 3mm off the finger with the face of the ring measuring 8mm at its widest point and 10mm in length. The band is 1.8mm thick. The ring is hallmarked for 9ct gold.
