This beautiful solitaire ring showcases an ethically an sustainably sourced 1.13 pear cut sapphire originating from Queensland, Australia. This type of Australian sapphire is known as a 'parti sapphire' showcasing more than one colour, an array of sparkling teal, blue and soft buttery yellow tones sparkle throughout this very special sapphire.
This ring was created entirely by hand using the lost wax method. The lost wax method enables me to create the ring around the natural shape and lines of the sapphire in a completely organic and freeform method. The wax is essentially 'lost' in the casting process revealing a solid gold ring.
This gold sapphire ring has a high, mirror finish polish with a smooth high polished interior for comfort. The ring is a AUS size P and can be resized. The ring rises 3mm off the finger. The band is 2mm thick. The ring is hallmarked for 9ct gold. The gold used in this ring is 100% Australian, sustainably and ethically sourced.
